About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated and target-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to
oversee and expand our operations in the PAN India. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for Building & managing a team, developing territory strategies, achieving sales targets, and
building long-term relationships with distributors, retailers, and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive revenue growth and achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets
• Appoint and manage stockists, distributors & field staff in assigned territory
• Lead, train, and monitor on-ground Medical Representatives/Sales Executives
• Analyse sales trends, market share, and competitor activities
• Plan and execute promotional strategies aligned with product campaigns
• Coordinate with supply chain/logistics to ensure smooth product availability
• Ensure timely collections and maintain credit discipline with partners
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor performance and gather feedback
• Submit detailed reports and forecasting to the senior management team
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and company policies in the assigned zone
✅ Requirements:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (Pharma preferred)
• 4–6 years of proven experience in pharmaceutical sales
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Hands-on experience with reporting tools
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region
• Proficiency in local language(s) will be an added advantage
