Job Description 

E-Commerce Growth Expert 

Full-time Agra / Noida Senior Individual Contributor 6–7 Years Experience 

 

Agrosaf is a fast-growing pharmaceutical company serving 20,000+ customers across 28 states, backed by the BM Group. We are scaling our direct-to-consumer and B2B e-commerce channels aggressively — both within India and across international markets. The E-Commerce Growth Expert will be the most senior commercial voice driving our digital sales strategy, owning the full funnel from marketplace listings to cross-border expansion. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL OWN 

Domestic Market Growth 

  • Own GMV and revenue targets across Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, JioMart, and emerging quick-commerce platforms 
  • Drive listing optimisation, A+ content, pricing strategy, and sponsored ads for pharma, OTC, Ayurvedic, and cosmetics categories 
  • Build and manage a nationwide D2C channel through the company website and WhatsApp commerce 
  • Identify high-potential pin codes and regional markets; run data-led experiments to accelerate penetration 
  • Monitor competitor activity, category trends, and platform algorithm changes to stay ahead of the curve 

International Reach Expansion 

  • Lead entry strategy for global marketplaces — Amazon Global, Noon, eBay, and GCC / SEA / Africa regional platforms 
  • Navigate cross-border logistics, import/export compliance, and international labelling regulations for pharmaceutical and health products 
  • Build relationships with overseas distributors, marketplace account managers, and 3PL partners 
  • Localise product listings, pricing, and promotions for target geographies while maintaining brand consistency 
  • Track forex impact, landed-cost economics, and international return rates to optimise global unit economics 

Product & Category Management 

  • Own the complete product catalogue across all channels — descriptions, images, regulatory content, and customer FAQs 
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to maintain in-stock rates, manage FBA/FBF inventory, and avoid stockouts or excess 
  • Identify whitespace opportunities in Pharma, OTC, Ayurvedic, and cosmetics segments and pitch new product launches 
  • Ensure all listings comply with platform policies and drug regulatory guidelines (CDSCO, FSSAI) 

Analytics, Execution & Cross-functional 

  • Build and own the e-commerce P&L — track CAC, ROAS, contribution margin, and revenue per SKU 
  • Set up dashboards and weekly/monthly reporting cadences for leadership on channel-wise performance 
  • Collaborate with marketing on performance campaigns, influencer tie-ups, and seasonal promotions 
  • Manage and develop a small team of catalogue executives, account managers, and digital marketers 
  • Be the e-commerce subject-matter expert for Sales, Finance, and Product teams

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 6–7 years of hands-on e-commerce experience with demonstrated ownership of GMV and revenue targets 
  • Deep expertise in at least two of the four categories: Pharmaceuticals, OTC healthcare, Ayurvedic products, Cosmetics & personal care 
  • Proven track record of scaling brands on Amazon India, Flipkart, and at least one international marketplace 
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for health and wellness product listings (CDSCO, FSSAI, drug labelling norms) 
  • Hands-on experience with marketplace ads (Amazon AMS, Flipkart Ads), SEO for e-commerce, and performance marketing 
  • Experience with cross-border e-commerce logistics — Incoterms, HS codes, import/export documentation 
  • Proficiency in e-commerce analytics tools (Seller Central reports, Unicommerce, GoFrugal, or equivalent) and Excel/Sheets 
  • Prior team management experience, even a small team, is required 

 

NICE TO HAVE 

  • Experience selling into GCC (UAE, Saudi Arabia), SEA, or African markets from an Indian base 
  • Exposure to D2C platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce) and WhatsApp / social commerce 
  • Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems in a pharma/FMCG context 
  • Understanding of AYUSH regulations and export norms for Ayurvedic and herbal products 
  • Network with marketplace category managers, distributors, or logistics aggregators
